Winton Woods Senior Receives Martin Luther King Jr. Award

Winton Woods High School senior Seth Cornelius.

Winton Woods senior Seth Cornelius was honored for his community service on Monday, January 18 during the King Community Awards breakfast that took place at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.  Cornelius received the 2010 King Youth Award in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  The award is given to students who have demonstrated involvement in community service, volunteer work, extra-curricular activities, and part-time employment while maintaining a high GPA. 

 

Cornelius has a 3.86 GPA in a strong academic course of study, is a Student Ambassador at the high school, and mentors elementary school students.
